PREP SOCCER: Tors stay undefeated with win over Destrehan

The Sulphur Tors remain undefeated after a 5-1 win over Destrehan to open the Copa Acadiana tournament on Friday.

The Tors are 5-0-1 and have outscore their opponents 22-2.

Sulphur led 4-0 at halftime.

Kaleb Lirette and Anthony Mason scored a pair of goals each. Hayden Habetz had a pair of assists, and Ethan Paiz recorded his first goal and assist of the season.

Goalkeepers Eric Zuniga and Ethan Curtis combined to stop five shots.

Sulphur take on Brother Martin (1-4-2) at 12:30 p.m. today and Denham Springs (3-1) at 3:30 p.m. at the Copa Acadiana tournament.
