The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for a fourth person in connection to the Jan. 31 death of a man discovered in a Westlake residence.
Spokesperson Kayla Vincent said a warrant has been issued for William D. Dennis, 24, by Judge Kendrick Guidry for second-degree murder in the death of Damarcus A. Ardoin, 25. His bond has been set for $250,000.
Detectives are also still searching for 22-year-old Justin J. Ned.
He is facing charges of principal to second-degree murder.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso previously told the American Press that Ardoin’s homicide was drug-related. Ardoin was found dead in his home on Westwood Road after a neighbor reported suspicious behavior.
Two people have already been arrested in the case. Autoria “Tori” Lachney, 22, and Kevin E. Williams Jr., 23, were located Feb. 6 at a Kirkman Street home.
Both were arrested and have been booked in to the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
Lachney is charged with accessory after the fact to second-degree murder; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; two counts drug possession; illegal carrying of weapons during the commission of a crime or in presence of CDS; and possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies. Her bond has been set at $204,500.
Mancuso said Ned and Lachney have a violent crime history. Ardoin did not.
If anyone has any information on his whereabouts they are asked to call CPSO at 491-3605.
Anyone who is found to be assisting or harboring Ned will be charged accordingly, Mancuso said.
The investigation is continuing and more charges and arrests are likely. Det. Barrett Savoie is the lead investigator on this case.
